The ‘Grass’ that influences this Banjo might not be of the ‘Blue’ variety... J.D. Pinkus has written and worked with a variety of projects. Joining the Butthole Surfers at the tender age of 17, started this musical journey, and still works with them today. Also currently playing with Melvins, Honky, Pure Luck, and Solo Banjo, which is a beautifully odd mixture of all above mentioned... J.D. Pinkus’ ‘Keep on the Grass’ recordings were recorded live and mixed by Danny Barnes to take the listener on a series of audio journeys.
